Privacy policy

Information the app uses

We access your shop identifier, shop currency, active product and variant details, SKU, vendor, inventory quantity, and inventory tracking state. The app requests read_products and read_inventory. It does not request customer lists or order history and does not change your Shopify inventory.

We store your shop identifier, encrypted-in-transit Shopify authentication tokens and session metadata, and planning data you save: demand assumptions, product costs, suppliers and their contact information, purchase-order records, budgets, and recent activity. Shopify's authentication library can store staff identity/session metadata needed for sign-in. Shopify manages subscription payments; we do not collect payment-card information.

Purpose and service providers

We use this information to authenticate your store, show inventory, calculate planning estimates, save your workspace, enforce plan entitlements, and respond to support requests. The app runs on Oru Studio's server hosted by Contabo. Shopify processes installation, authentication, store API access, and app billing. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Storage and retention

Production workspace and session records are held in a private database on our server. Application credentials are kept outside the web directory. HTTPS protects data in transit. Access is limited to the service and authorized server administrators.

Verified app-uninstall and shop-redaction webhooks delete the shop's active workspace and session records. Shopify controls when redaction webhooks arrive. Support correspondence remains in the support mailbox as needed to handle the request. Server-level security records may be retained to investigate abuse. You may request deletion by emailing us with the shop identity needed to verify the request.

Demo and downloads

The public demo uses sample data. Edits are saved to browser local storage, which you can clear in browser settings or reset using Reset demo. Avoid entering real confidential supplier information into the public demo. Exported CSV and JSON files remain on your device and may include supplier details; handle them appropriately.

Choices and international processing

You can export workspace records, correct saved planning information, uninstall the app, or request access or deletion through support. Our infrastructure and service providers may process information outside your country. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. We will review verified requests and explain any information we must retain.

We will update this page when the service's data handling changes. The effective date identifies the current version.
